Lassen peak, Kohm Yah-mah-nee, is the southern-most major Cascade volcano. It is one of the world's largest volcanic domes, formed by gradual, viscous lava pushing upwards. This is unlike the conical stratovolcanoes in the Cascades (ex. Helens, Rainier, Hood), which formed by eruptions from the central summit vents. Contours every 20ft with major contours every 200ft. The base shading is determined by elevation and slope. This map begins at an elevation of 7500ft.
Prints are museum-quality. Giclée-printed on archival, acid-free, thick and durable matte paper (192 g/m2).
